Stanislav Churchev, MD graduated from Medical University – Pleven in 2011 and completed his specialization in gastroenterology at Tsaritsa Yoanna University Hospital – ISUL – Sofia.

His professional interests include gastrointestinal endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic hemostasis in bleeding, diagnosis and treatment of Helicobacter pylori infection, as well as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

He is the author of over 10 scientific publications and a participant in the development of national and European clinical guidelines and consensus statements.

He is a member of leading Bulgarian and European medical societies, including the Bulgarian Society of Gastroenterology, ECCO, ESGE, and UEG.
