Assoc. Prof. Diana Nikolovska graduated from Medical University – Sofia in 1979.

She obtained a specialty in Internal Diseases in 1985 and a specialty in Gastroenterology and Dietetics in 1987.

Her main practical and scientific interests are in the whole spectrum of gastroenterology and hepatology. She has introduced the study of the gut microbiome into clinical practice as a starting point for an individualized approach to the treatment of many health problems associated with gut dysbiosis.
