Krasimira Karakasheva, MD graduated Medicine at Medical Academy – Plovdiv in 1999. Until 2002, she worked as a surgeon at the Topolovgrad Hospital . From 2002 to 2014 she worked as a surgeon at the Burgas Hospital. Dr Karakasheva acquired a specialty in General Surgery in 2008. From 2014 to 2018 she worked as a surgeon at Burgasmed Hospital.

From November 2018 to June 2019, she works in the cardiac surgery department of Ajibadem City Clinic Burgas Ltd., where she enrolled in a specialty in cardiac surgery. She has obtained certificates for abdominal ultrasound and laparoscopic surgery. In 2013 she obtained a Master degree in Health management.

She was awarded the Honorary badge of the Bulgarian Medical Union – Silver for displaying high morale and professionalism in a particularly difficult situation of National importance.
