Polya Makaveeva, MD graduated with honors from the Medical University in Pleven in 2018. Since 2019 she has been a radiology residentat the Heart and Brain Center of Clinical Excellence in Pleven.

Her professional interests are focused on cardiovascular and musculoskeletal radiology. She is actively involved in scientific publications at congresses and seminars in Bulgaria. She is a member of the Bulgarian medical association (BMA), the Bulgarian Association of radiology (BAR) and the European Society of Radiology (ESR). She is fluent in English.
