Meriam Petkova is a specialist in molecular biology. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology in 2019 from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski.” In 2022, she defended her master’s degree in molecular biology at Plovdiv University “Paisii Hilendarski.”

She is a member of the Bulgarian Society of Human Genetics and Genomics.

Since 2021, she has been part of the team at the medical genetics laboratory at the Heart and Brain Hospital in Pleven.
