Maria Dimitrova, MD is a specialist in clinical hematology with experience in the diagnosis and treatment of anemias, hemorrhagic diathesis and malignant hematological diseases. She graduated in medicine from Medical University – Pleven in 1996. She acquired specialties in internal medicine at Medical University – Sofia (2005) and in clinical hematology at Medical University – Sofia (2012).

In the period 2009 – 2023, she was successively a specialist in clinical hematology, a resident physician and the head of the hematology department in the department of hematology of MI-MIA-Sofia.

Her clinical interests are related to diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant blood diseases. She is a member of the Bulgarian Medical Association of Hematology.
