Ivan Vasilev, MD graduated in medicine from Medical University – Pleven in 2014. In 2016 he became part of the team of the Hospital of Cardiology – Pleven as a specialist in cardiology. In 2021 he obtained a specialty in Cardiology and a certificate of professional qualification in Invasive Cardiology. His professional interests are focused on invasive cardiology and complex coronary interventions and neurointerventions. He conducted a one-month course on neurointerventions in Augsburg and a workshop on complex coronary interventions in Belgrade.

He is a member of the Bulgarian Society of Interventional Cardiology.

Dr. Ivan Vassilev is part of the team of the Cardiology Clinic of the ‘Heart and Brain’ Pleven since 2019.
