Ilia Krachunov, MD is Head of the Pulmonary department at Heart and Brain Center of Clinical Excellence in Pleven. He is a member of the European Respiratory Society, the Bulgarian Society of Pulmonary Diseases, the Bulgarian Society of Somnology.

His expertise includes: interventional bronchology /second level/, thoracic ultrasonography, sleep disorders research, functional lung diagnostics. Dr. Krachunov is one of the few specialists in Pleven who are engaged in the treatment of sleep apnea.
