\nThe Pulmonology Department is comprised of a team of specialists with extensive expertise in lung diseases such as bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pneumonia and respiratory failure, diagnosing and treating obstructive sleep apnea, cancer and rare lung diseases. The department also specializes in the treatment of acute SARS-CoV-2 and complications of the infection. In order to achieve maximum results in patient care, we have highly qualified specialists – pulmonologists and rehabilitation specialists and the most modern equipment.<\/p>\n

Equipment includes a ultrasound pleural diagnostic and transthoracic biopsies, state-of-the-art video bronchoscopes and a functional laboratory III new. The capabilities of the laboratory include functional respiratory testing (spirometry), lung diffusion capacity testing, body plethysmography, cadrio-pulmonary exercise testing and measurement of the fraction of NO in exhaled air (FENO).[\/vc_column_text][mk_padding_divider size=”120″]\n
