\nThe urology department performs highly specialized diagnostic and surgical work on diseases of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate, penis and testicles. It is equipped with the latest generation surgical equipment to apply the most sparing and precise minimally invasive surgical techniques. Intraoperative ultrasonographic and radiographic monitoring is routinely applied when indicated.<\/p>\n

The team of doctors has extensive clinical and research experience gained in leading clinics in the country and abroad. All the doctors are engaged in research activities, teaching activities are also carried out.<\/p>\n

\nTreatment and diagnosis of malignant diseases<\/strong>
\n– Prostate cancer,
\n– renal carcinoma
\n– bladder carcinoma
\n– testicular carcinoma
\n– carcinoma of the penis
\n– carcinoma of ureter<\/p>\n

Conventional and laparoscopic prostate and kidney surgery is routinely performed. Robotic Da Vinci surgery is also being introduced. Minimally invasive laser and bipolar surgery is performed for bladder tumors.<\/p>\n

Treatment and diagnosis of benign prostate hyperplasia (enlargement) – BPH<\/strong>
\nState-of-the-art treatment methods for BPH – latest generation laser and plasma resection of the prostate – have been introduced<\/p>\n

Treatment and diagnosis of renal stone disease<\/strong>
\nIn the Department of Urology, modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of renal stone disease and concrements localized in the ureter and bladder are applied. The treatment is carried out with the help of the latest generation Holmium laser and the unique Trilogy ultrasound system, which allows to break any type of concrements. Extracorporeal lithotripsy (extracorporeal destruction of stones in the urinary system) is applied using the latest model Dornie device.<\/p>\n

Treatment and diagnosis of paediatric urological diseases<\/strong>
\nTreatment and diagnosis of hypospadias, cryptorchidism (retention of testicles in the abdominal cavity), reconstructive surgery of the penis, diagnosis of congenital malformations in children, and reconstructive surgery of the lower urinary tract.[\/vc_column_text][mk_padding_divider size=”120″]\n
