She diagnoses and treats patients with diseases of the central, peripheral and autonomic nervous system.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Petrishka has worked at the Clinic of Functional Diagnosis of the Nervous System at the Military Medical Academy Sofia, where she was a member of the committees for diabetic polyneuropathy treatment, Parkinson&#8217;s disease, multiple sclerosis and epilepsy.<\/p>\n<p>She performes EMG studies which include testing for polyneuropathy, root damage in disc disease, tremorgram, neuromuscular transmission disorder (myasthenic reaction), needle electromyography, and Doppler sonography of cerebral vessels.<\/p>\n<p>She is a member of the Bulgarian Association of Neurosonology and Cerebral Hemodynamics, the Association of Clinical Electromyography and Evoked Potentials.
