After graduation he started working as a district doctor in his hometown Byala Slatina. In 1987 he won a competition for a clinical resident at the Medical Academy in Sofia. In 1987 he won the first place in the Clinical residency in Sofia. In 1990 he acquired a specialty in internal medicine. In the same year he won a competition for assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Sofia. He won the prize in the contest of Internal Medicine. In 1995 he acquired a specialty in Gastroenterology and Dietetics. Gradually became assistant and chief assistant at MU &#8211; Pleven. He worked at the Internal Medicine Clinic until 2010, after which he continued as a gastroenterologist at the MMA &#8211; Pleven. From 2014 &#8211; 2023 he was at the Hospital &#8220;Sv.
