His surgical interests are mainly in the areas of surgical, thoracic and abdominal surgery. He has authored and co-authored scientific publications in national and international journals mainly in the field of emergency, thoracic and oncologic surgery. He has undergone a number of trainings in the field of minimally invasive thoracic surgery, led by some of the world’s best specialists in the field – prof. Diego Rivas (Uniportal VATS Masterclass) and prof. Tom\u00e1\u0161 \u0160tupnik (Introduction to VATS segmentectomy).<\/p>\n

His leading research and surgical interests are in the field of surgery for diseases of the diaphragm, including congenital, acquired and traumatic diseases. He is fluent in English and German.<\/p>\n
